Mark and Amanda passed on your blog to me and I am very jealous as you are doing exactly what I would like to do. We have not seen each other for yonks but since leaving Plymouth Janet and I spent 11 years in NZ, returning to Switzerland last year for a new job. I bought a 650cc Transalp in May and have now got my full licence. What a place to ride this is!!
Janet seems keen on riding pillion so hopefully next summer we will start venturing a little further from the Swiss border. I agree that the Horizons Unlimited site is inspirational and am hoping to do the HUMM next year.
I will track your progress with great interest and who knows, maybe next year we might actually get to ride together in Europe!
